Just put your lips together

These days pass really strange. I have had so many nightmares and quite a few things going on I have to decide. But, to start with, this week was sooooo heavy at work. We had a project submitted in time (and I have to admit, I would have never thought that we actually could submit it in time). Next week at Bocconi there is the International Week (full of presentations where over 2000 stay abroad opportunities will be presented to Bocconi students, with other programs, like international orchestra play, welcome cocktail to exchange students, movie (Babel) and we are also going to theater). So next week will be quite busy too.
In the meantime I have to cope with an extreme nostalgia towards Spain. I am continuously having doubts if I should have just stayed there as I am really missing it, and missing the atmosphere, and the routine...

In the meantime I am still working on some projects which are soon coming up!

But in my head I have many questions. Questions for which I have no answer. Questions, like what (job?), and where (which country?) and 'who'. Questions that I am not able to answer now. But have to decide soon.

I know only one thing. Its been way too much recently of 'complications' and that I need a break. But I also know that I am getting a break, in a week time I AM TRAVELING! I will be out of the country, and there will be no way to contact me :-)

Office

To be honest, I love the place where Im working.

I am sure that most of you would not say this is the job for which I got training in the last 5 years (well, training is way exaggerated but whatever...). Indeed, it is highly administrative job but needs a lot of creativity though!

The office itself is quite comfortable, well equipped -well, it could be better equipped, I am missing the web cam for chatting :D -and my colleagues are really nice.

The nature of the work is not too bad. I mean, comparing to other jobs that were offered to me (where all i would have needed to do was working on one excel sheet for the whole day....) here at least is colorful (I mean diverse) and even though very administrative, it is so complex that it is nice. Of course the best thing about it is that the workload is really high, but the salary sucks :-) well, nothing and nobody is perfect!

calm weekend

After a weekend which seems to be sooo short I am ready to start the new week!
I practically did nothing during the weekend. On Friday i went to have dinner with the 'Wisconsin girls' then we went for a drink, i got home around 2 am (of course by taxi after all). The next day i got up at 1 pm (then i realized that i had been extremely exhausted). I made some 'brunch' with some cocktails and headed to Rozzano, to the closes reachable commercial center, i did some shopping (I almost had a heart attack when the casher said 73 euros, and i bought nothing but some basic things). Then came home, and guess what, i stayed in!! And it was cool! I had some beers, surfed the net, i went to bed only at 5 am! It is so cool to take it easy sometimes, i really needed it.
Today i took it easy again, i practically cleaned my room, put everything in order (well, not everything) but i still have to do some ironing! I have set up different programs to download stuff (torrents, emule, emule adunanza) with not too much success. I still need to do so many things on the internet. I have 2 websites to create, still! not talking about the thesis. And not talking about the 20 unread emails on my email account.

Last Friday, finally it happened!
No, you dont have to think of that! I just opened a bank account! After having consulter the offer of around 15 banks, i could not afford anyway to wait more, and opened IW Bank, which actually does not sound too bad. Practically everything is for free (account, online bank, bank card, credit card) but of course with the state fees&duties&taxes i will still pay like 60 euros a year, yes, that is italy.... Anyways, i am glad for it :-) Small things of life that can make you happy :-D

So next week i can settle my finance situation (which does not look too good, unfortunately) and having stable net connection and credit card, finally can start some business! :-)

But i would need more time! So I will start really finishing work in time, at 17.30 and take it back with going out (I anyways cannot keep the last one financially...).


And i have some nice plans too, I am looking for cheap tickets for traveling, and guess where, to SPAIN!! I want to go back there so bad!!! (I know, when I was in spain i wanted milan at any cost... I am talking about visiting now! and just to underline it, i feel very okay in Milan, i like it, i enjoy it, and work is really okay!)

So, as mentioned before, I still have to iron tonight, and before that i have to cook some dinner!!!

So now I am going, but will leave you guys some comedy, so you can have an idea of my new home! :-)

che stanchezza...

Life is going on, there are many things that have happened, at work we are being extremely busy as all the students have been just arriving.

On the other hand I have been going quite often recently, so I am extremely tired and actually spent quite much of money too :S

But I have been enjoying, has really good time with friends, got to know new people and been enjoying Milan finally. Apart from some stuff that going on, like the partial and complete traffic blockage in Milan (for smog problems); strike of the gas refill stations, death of the policeman in Catania during a football match which resulted in sospending and delaying the football championship! So as you see, life is going on!

But I am really tired, I have to go to do the shopping now, as I am cooking some Hungarian food today for some Italian friends, I am not sure if I will be able to cook it as Italy lacks some ingridients and some stuff are just sooo different here. We will see, in case I can still cook pasta :-)
